Welcome to the website of Agape House of Worship(“AHOW,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of and access to our website located at https://www.ahowfc.org/ (the “Site”) and any services, features, or resources provided by AHOW through this Site or related platforms (collectively, the “Services”).

By accessing or using our Site and Services, you agree to abide by these Terms and to comply with all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must discontinue your use of the Site and Services immediately.

These Terms apply to all visitors, members, donors, and any other individuals who use our Services. Please read them carefully, as they describe your responsibilities and the limitations of our liability.

1. About Agape House of Worship

Agape House of Worship, located at 239 E. 1st Avenue, Roselle, NJ 07203, exists to glorify God by equipping believers, serving communities, and proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The Site provides access to:

  • Sermons, worship content, and spiritual resources.
  • Online giving and donation platforms.
  • Information about ministries, events, and programs.
  • Opportunities for prayer requests and community connection.
  • Registration for events, volunteer initiatives, and outreach efforts.

The Site is a digital extension of our ministry. While it is available to the general public, its purpose is faith-based and aligned with the mission of AHOW.

By using our Site or Services, you confirm that:

  1. You are at least 18 years of age, or you are using the Site with the knowledge and consent of a parent or legal guardian.

You may not:

  • Reproduce, republish, or redistribute Content without our prior written permission.
  • Use Content for commercial purposes or financial gain.
  • Remove copyright notices or proprietary labels.
  • Claim ownership of AHOW’s intellectual property.

6. Donations and Financial Transactions

The Site may allow you to make donations, tithes, offerings, or other contributions to AHOW. By making a financial transaction through our Services, you agree that:

  1. You are authorized to use the payment method provided.
  2. You will provide accurate and complete billing information.
  3. Donations are voluntary and, unless required by law, non-refundable.
  4. AHOW may use third-party payment processors to handle transactions. These processors have their own terms and policies, which you may be required to review.
  5. Donations may be tax-deductible as permitted by law. Please consult your tax advisor for specific details.

AHOW takes security seriously but cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free processing of financial transactions.

7. Credit Card Information

If you make any contribution, donation, offering, or otherwise provide credit card details through our Services (e.g., giving, tithes, or payments), the following terms apply:

1. Data Provided

You may be asked to provide information including, but not limited to, your credit card number, cardholder name, expiration date, billing address, CVV/security code, and other payment authorization details as required by our payment processor.

2. Use of Information

Your credit card information is used only to process donations or payments you authorize, and for verifying the transaction. We do not store full credit card numbers in our own system except to the extent required by the payment processor; sensitive data is handled under the security standards of the payment service provider (e.g. PCI-DSS compliance).

3. Third-Party Payment Processors

Agape House of Worship (“AHOW”) uses third-party payment processors to handle online financial transactions. When you provide credit card data, you authorize both AHOW and the payment processor to use that information in accordance with their respective terms. The payment processor’s privacy and security policies apply in addition to ours.

4. Security

We take reasonable technical, administrative, and organizational measures to protect your credit card information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Authorization & Verification

By providing your credit card information, you authorize AHOW (or its payment processor) to charge your card for the amount you specify. AHOW reserves the right to verify that the payment information you provide is valid and belongs to you, and to refuse or cancel any transaction that appears fraudulent, unauthorized, or invalid.

6. Refunds & Disputes

All credit-card initiated transactions are subject to AHOW’s policies regarding refunds, which may be non-refundable (unless otherwise required by law). If you have a dispute regarding a credit card transaction (e.g., unauthorized charge), you should contact AHOW at info@ahowfc.org as soon as possible. Additionally, you may also contact your credit card issuer.

7. Compliance with Laws

All handling of credit card information must comply with applicable laws and regulations, including those relating to consumer protection, payment card industry security standards (PCI), and any applicable privacy or financial regulations.

8. Your Responsibilities

You agree to provide true, accurate, current, and complete credit card and billing information. If you provide any information that is false, inaccurate, or incomplete, AHOW reserves the right to deny or cancel your donation or transaction.

8. User Submissions

If you submit prayer requests, feedback, testimonials, volunteer applications, or other content (“User Submissions”) through the Site, you grant AHOW a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, display, and distribute those Submissions for ministry purposes.

You represent and warrant that your User Submissions:

  • Are accurate and not misleading.
  • Do not infringe upon the rights of others.
  • Do not contain unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or inappropriate material.

AHOW reserves the right to remove or refuse any User Submission at its sole discretion.

9. Privacy

Your use of the Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and safeguard personal information. By using the Services, you consent to the practices outlined in our Privacy Policy.

10. Third-Party Services and Links

The Site may contain links to third-party websites or services. These are provided for your convenience, but AHOW does not endorse and is not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of such third parties.

Your use of third-party websites and services is at your own risk, and you should review their terms and privacy policies separately.

11. Disclaimers

The Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. AHOW makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding:

  • The accuracy, reliability, or completeness of Content.
  • The availability or functionality of the Site or Services.
  • The absence of errors, viruses, or other harmful elements.

All spiritual materials are offered for encouragement and teaching. They are not intended as a substitute for personal study of Scripture, professional counseling, medical treatment, or legal advice.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AHOW, its pastors, staff, volunteers, and affiliates shall not be liable for any damages arising from your use of the Services. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Unauthorized access to your personal or financial information.
  • Interruptions, delays, or technical failures.

Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the Services is to stop using them.

13. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless AHOW, its leadership, staff, volunteers, and affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, or expenses (including attorney fees) resulting from:

  • Your misuse of the Services.
  • Your infringement of intellectual property or other rights.

14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed under the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to conflict of law principles.

In the event of a dispute, you agree to:

  1. First attempt to resolve the matter informally with AHOW.
  2. Submit unresolved disputes to binding arbitration in Union County, New Jersey.
  3. Waive the right to pursue a class action or jury trial.

15. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site and Services at any time, with or without cause, and without prior notice, if we believe that you have violated these Terms or engaged in conduct inconsistent with our mission.

16. Modifications to the Terms

We reserve the right to update, revise, or modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the Site. Your continued use of the Services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

17. Entire Agreement
