Our bible study this evening is titled “Making Room for the Harvest”. Our reference texts are 2 Kings 4:8-36, Mark 2:1-12, Acts 9:26-31, 16:14-15, 18:26.
Making room for others is a major part of what we do in our ministries at AHOWFC. Our fundraising campaign this year entitled “The Make Room Campaign” helped our church to raise funds to support church projects such as the new parking lot at the main campus and improvements to SJ & Casa Agape.
In the Bible, God made room for us from the beginning, Jesus did it for the disciples, the apostles did it for the early Christians, and the Apostle Paul did it for the Gentiles.
So tonight at Bible Study, we will look at how important making room for new people is and how we all play a crucial role in impacting and integrating people into the AHOWFC community. We’ll discuss how the ability of a church to make room for others plays a major role in it’s overall growth or the lack of it.
