A Man after God’s own Heart. (series)

This evening at Bible Study, we will continue on in our 12-week study series on the life of King David titled, A Man after God’s own Heart. We will be studying Part 7: David Crowned King (Becoming King). Our anchor text is 2 Samuel 5:1-12 (NIV).

Todays bible study will focus on David’s rise to power and his establishment as king over all Israel. This passage marks a very significant turning point in the life of David because from the time that Samuel anointed him as King, it took approximately 15 years before he saw it come to pass. Can you imagine how David felt to finally see the promise come to pass? This story continues to show us why David was a man after God’s own heart.

Join us as Pastor Patrick Ahiadzipe facilitates the study this evening. We will discuss the lessons learned from this story and how we can apply them to our lives.
