Join us tonight, as we discuss a new topic called “Looking Unto Jesus.” Our anchor text will be Hebrews 12:2 and our case study will be taken from Matthew 14:26-33.

“Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith” in our anchor text and I lift up my eyes to the hills – where does my help come from, my help comes from the Lord” Psalm 121:1-2. These are just some of the verses that remind us that in our journey as Christians, we should constantly and consistently look unto the Lord as our source in all things.

When we look unto Jesus, we see:

• The Author of our Faith
• The Finisher of our Faith
• The One who Endured
• The One Who Reigns

Tonight we will learn about the different practices that will help us keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, the benefits that it will yield for us and also the disadvantages that losing sight of Him can cause. As we learn from tonight’s session, we should use these tactical examples to draw closer to God and improve walk with him.
