Prepared for New Things: Fasting, Prayer and the Pathway to Greater Works. (series)
In Part 1 of our study series, we looked at how fasting precedes deliverance, revelation, and divine intervention. In Part 2, we looked at Jesus, who is our ultimate pattern for “greater works”. We have also stated multiple times during this study series that fasting is not a way to “earn” God’s favor, but a gateway to align our heart and spirits with His frequency for divine direction, clarity, and commissioning.
Today, we will study Part 3: Fasting for Direction, Revelation, and Deployment. We will look into how fasting achieves this using great Biblical examples such as the early church and Daniel. Fasting doesn’t change God’s mind; it changes our posture. It transitions us from a state of seeking our own will to becoming vessels for His sovereign deployment.
