Our mission is to provide feminine hygiene products to teenage girls living in orphanages in Africa
The Give a Pad (GAP) initiative is an outreach project born out of a burden Women of Purpose had to help provide essential feminine hygiene needs to underprivileged girls in Africa. Women of Purpose is the Women’s Ministry of Agape House of Worship located in Roselle, NJ.
Access to good sanitary pads is a necessity for any girl that has reached the age of puberty. This necessity however is not affordable for many girls in some parts of the world, this is particularly a challenge in the continents of Africa and Asia.
Our mission is to make this monthly experience a little easier for underprivileged young teenage girls especially orphans living in the continent of Africa; by providing sanitary pads to use during their monthly menstrual cycle. The goal of the Give A Pad (GAP) Project is to provide an annual supply of sanitary pads, bras and panties to at least 1000 orphan teen girls every year.
