Thank you for your interest in the worship team at the Agape House of Worship! God has been so good to us, and we are excited about where He is taking us. We appreciate your willingness to be part of our future.
Corporate worship is one of our Church’s essential core values. We see worship as more than just singing great songs, but first as a lifestyle of submission to God. By choosing to be part of the worship team, you express interest in a leadership role in AHOW. We see worship leadership as an important position of influence in our Church.
Hence, we expect our worship leaders to have a vibrant personal walk with Jesus, see themselves as models for others, and fully embrace the vision of AHOW and its leadership.

HOW TO AUDITION
STEP 1:
The first step of the audition process is to submit a video audition. The process is different for each vocalist/instrumentalist so please read the below guidelines carefully. After receiving your submission, we will review your video, and if we decide to move forward with the audition process you will hear from us via email.
Instrumentalists
You can play with a backing track but your instrument must be the loudest we hear. Please select one of the following songs for your instrument.
- Drums, Guitar, and Bass Submissions: Lion and the Lamb by Bethel Music, Your Great Name by Todd Dulaney, or You Are Good by Israel Houghton.
- Keyboard Submissions: Do It Again by Elevation Worship, Reckless Love by Passion, or Great I Am by Larue Howard
- Other Instruments: At this time, the worship team is only looking for the above instruments. If you play a wind instrument you are still welcome to send in an audition video. We may call on you to do special ministrations. Please email tosin.olusola@ahowfc.org for more information.
Vocalists have a 2- part video audition. You are welcome to send it all in one video or send multiple videos.
Vocal Assessment (Part 1)
You will submit a recording of yourself singing a cappella (no accompaniment). You should record at least two parts of the song (ex. verse/chorus or chorus/bridge). Please select one of the following songs:
- Champion or God I Look to You by Bethel Music
- Who You Say I Am by Hillsong Worship
- Hallelujah Here Below by Elevation Worship
Ear Assessment (Part 2)
The ability to hear and replicate harmonies is an important skill for the worship team. You will submit a recording of yourself singing all of the harmony parts (soprano, alto, and tenor) of one of the following songs. For this part of the audition, you can sing along with the song, if you’d like. Singing a cappella is acceptable as well.

HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR AUDITION
Upload your video to YouTube. Under privacy settings, mark the video as “Unlisted” and title the video “Your Name-AHOW Worship Team Audition“. Once you have uploaded your recordings, you will fill out this application and include the link(s) to your videos. Please note that the application form has a couple of questions so we suggest you set aside ample time to fill it out.
After receiving your submission, we will review your video, and if we decide to move forward with the audition process you will move on to the following steps in the audition process.
Please note that a live in-person audition may also be requested. More details will be sent concerning this if you pass your video audition.
STEP 2:
Once you successfully pass Step 1, you will have a 30-minute zoom interview with the Worship Director, Tosin Olusola. She will reach out to you to set this up.
STEP 3:
Your final step is to have a meeting with our Lead Pastor, Jide Lawore.
