AHOW Houston is a dynamic worship center in Houston, TX, where God’s presence meets every life. Launched February 26, 2023, under the apostolic leadership of Pastor Jide Lawore, this campus is led locally by Pastor Richard Oyebade and his wife, Minister Patience Oyebade.
Our vision is to welcome the poor, oppressed, and hurting, and to equip believers to discover their gifts and step into leadership in every sphere of life. Every Saturday and Sunday at 1 PM – 3 PM CT, we gather for worship that lifts the heart and teaching that roots us in truth. Engage in Scripture, experience heartfelt praise, and grow in your relationship with Christ alongside a welcoming community.
Our children, youth, and family programs nurture faith across generations. From fun worship to discipleship mentoring, young people and families find meaningful connection, spiritual growth, and purpose. Parents and kids serve together and grow stronger in Christ’s love in this welcoming community.
At the heart of our Houston, TX worship church is compassion in action. We mobilize service, support the hurting, and share the gospel through local outreach. Volunteers step into ministries that bring hope, light, and practical help to neighbors.
In our prayer and support groups, Monday through Friday evenings from 6 PM – 8 PM CT, we provide a safe space to bring burdens, share your journey, and receive spiritual care. These sessions focus on prayer for healing, deliverance, and breakthrough, fostering faith, encouragement, and fellowship as God works in every life.
Richard Oyebade
Richard is a man that loves the Lord and His people with great passion. He has been privileged to serve in many ministries in AHOW, including the Marriage Ministry, the Children’s Ministry, and the Finance Ministry. He enjoys seeing God’s people flourish and be grounded in their relationship with Jesus Christ. He and his family relocated to Texas in 2017, where they now reside. Richard is an accountant by profession; he has a master’s degree in accounting from the University of Phoenix. Richard is happily married to his wife, Patience, and they are blessed with two children, Joshua and Joy.
Patience Oyebade
Patience Oyebade is a lover of God and a lover of people. She is a firm believer in God’s unending and unfailing love. She believes that family is the foundational stone of society and has devoted her life to motivating and inspiring married couples to build homes that are modeled after God’s principles. She has served alongside her husband of twenty-three years in the marriage and family ministry for several years. Patience is a trained social worker and a licensed special education teacher in the state of Texas where she currently resides. She is blessed with two children Joshua and Joy. She enjoys dancing, cooking, and spending time with her family.
